Scope and Contents

From the Series:

This series features awards, plaques, and certificates presented to Cheng in recognition of her contributions. It also includes several textiles, notably an American flag dedicated to Cheng upon her naturalization as a citizen of the United States in 1988, along with items of clothing and other materials. Additionally, the series houses assorted oversized posters from Cheng’s lectures and appearances following the publication of Life and Death in Shanghai.

From the Collection: 24.14 Linear Feet (8 record cartons, 3 document cases, 12 archives boxes, two oversized flat folders.) : The archive is approximately 24.14 linear feet in size and the library contains 300+ hardback and paperback 20th-century to 2009 volumes in both English and Chinese.

Separated Materials

Two texts (smaller white, and smaller green rolls) were found inside a paper towel roll with Chinese lettering on front. Roll was removed and placed in box 22.
