The Footnotes in 1B are arranged and processed into one box in the order in which Jack Day had them organized from within four separate boxes. Take note that the folders have labled groupings. This indicates footnotes that Jack Day had paperclipped together. Some topics repeat throughout the box, this is because we wanted to preserve the organization that Jack Day already had in place.
