From the Collection:

This collection consists of items owned, used, or collected by Eliott Baker, retired Executive Director of the Office of Academic Records and Summer School. It includes a number of realia, including original door hinges from Old Main dating to 1913, Baker’s signature stampers, and a book belonging to the Normal School in 1889. Also included are numerous items of SRU-branded memorabilia collected by Baker over the years, as well as recruitment publications from the Office of Admissions, dating from the 1980s to the 1990s.

Biographical / Historical

Margaret Evelyn Eaken was a resident of Prospect, Pennsylvania who graduated in the class of 1940 at Slippery Rock State Teachers College. She was a a member of Sigma Tau Delta, Kappa Delta Pi, and President of the Freshman Open Road club.
