Biographical / Historical

The Leadership Institute for Faculty Women addresses women in leadership and gender equity in the academy through a series of presentations and interactive, experiential, and strategy-based workshops. The Institute is an intensive, week long program. Participants arrive at the site on Sunday afternoon and then attend dinner and the Keynote Address. For the duration of the week, participants will attend lectures, workshops, panels and discussion group sessions from morning until evening, with breaks and meals. The structure and schedule allows both skill development and both formal and informal discussions to create connections and networks among the cohort of women. The program is concluded on Thursday after a session of synthesis and evaluation.
