 Item — Box: 6

Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

This collection consists of playbills, programs, and personal items collected by Tuck throughout his many years of theater-going. The bulk of the collection represents Pittsburgh area theaters as well as London area theatres. There are personal items such as his ticket stubs from performances, phonograph records, and newspaper clippings collected by Mr. Tuck in this collection as well.

Throughout Mr. Tuck’s theater-going career he saw many different types of plays, musicals, operas, and other stage performances. Although Mr. Tuck saw a variety of performances there are some that were seen more than others. A sample of those include: 42nd Street, Annie, Camelot, Cats, Chicago, Grease, Hairspray, Jersey Boys, Les Misérables, The Lion King, Madame Butterfly, Miss Saigon, Oklahoma, Phantom of the Opera, Shen Yun, Singing in the Rain, South Pacific, Sunset Boulevard, West Side Story, and Wicked. These are just some of the performances represented in this collection.
