The collection encompasses meeting minutes (1972-1985), documents, news clippings, as well as assorted reports and booklets related to the Board of Governors of the State System of Education.

This collection contains materials from various events and activities in the town of Slippery Rock and with Slippery Rock State College/University. Material types include general records including local news releases, flyers, programs, and copied news clippings. Other materials include records regarding the Slippery Rock Heritage Association and the Slippery Rock Heritage Festival dating from 1986 to 2005.

This collection, dated 1984, includes papers, memorandums, and Slippery Rock University News releases regarding the Economic Development Planning of Lawrence County; a joint effort of Slippery Rock University and county leaders to develop a long-range plan for the economic development of Lawrence County. Also included is a Progress Report on Economic Development from the Institute of Social Science Research, dated November of 1984.
