Biographical / Historical

William Gibson (1817-1898) was a prominent citizen of Mercer Borough, Mercer, Pennsylvania. He served on the city council in 1859 and 1879 and was elected county commissioner in 1860. He was a specialist in glass and finishing work and did the glasswork on the second Mercer County Courthouse.
