Biographical / Historical

Victor Shields was a Slippery Rock State College graduate (class of 1973). His family, including his mother, Madie Hemmilia, have long been alumni of Slippery Rock. Madie Shields (nee Hemmilia), graduated from Slippery Rock State Teachers College and went on to be a teacher in the Grove City, Pennsylvania area.
