Biographical / Historical

Elizabeth Kanagy is a Slippery Rock State Normal School, and Slippery Rock State Teachers College alumna. Kanagy first graduated in 1924 and began teaching in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. Between the summers of 1938 and 1943, Kanagy took several summer courses to eventually earn her B.A. in Elementary Education.
