Biographical / Historical
24-P-10: The NOTIS library catalog was called OSCAR (Online System Catalog at the Rock), 1992-1998. OSCAR was replaced with PILOT when the library switched to Endeavor’s Voyager integrated library system in 1988. PILOT was named by Nancy Mickle, a Bailey Library employee, in a statewide contest.
24-1 Library Directors: In 1973 the title was changed from Chief Librarian to Director of Library Services by the university administration.
