Content Description

This collection consists of records documenting Robert Smith’s career at Slippery Rock University. The bulk of the material is from 1999-2012, and includes papers and correspondence relating to the conclussion of G. Warren Smith as president and Robert Smith’s transition into the presidency. The collection also includes awards, photographs, various print and digital media, publications, memorabilia, and ephemera.

Content Description

This collection, spanning 1911 to 2002, consists of assorted Slippery Rock campus photographic materials of construction projects, buildings, and other architectural topics. Notably, a large portion of the collection is comprised of W.G. Eckles Architectural firm photographs depicting the largest campus construction projects from 1938 to 1939. Also included are oversized framed photos, architectural renderings, slides, negatives, and other media.

Including an original agreement for Slippery Rock State Normal School in 1888, a collection of land transaction records for 249 Maltby Avenue (present day Robert A.
