Harris, Ken, 1936-
Biography
Dr. Kenneth Harris (born 1936) moved to the United States from London, England as a small child. After graduate school in Iowa and teaching in West Virginia, Harris joined the Communication Department here at Slippery Rock University in 1981. He was one of the original faculty members of the newly formed Theatre Department beginning the next year.
Harris shares stories about theatre productions, rehearsal visits from President Reinhard, and a minor explosion in Miller Auditorium. Dr. Harris also served as the mayor of Slippery Rock.
