Biography
Richard "Dick" Wukich (born 1943) worked in SRU’s Art Department from 1968 to 2011. He was a major participant in the development of the Art program, including the BFA.
Wukich discusses the beginnings of the faculty union and the influential Martha Gault. Additional topics include his involvement with the Empty Bowls Dinner, the Summer Art Academy, SRU’s exchange program with the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava, and the “People’s Art Gallery.”

Scope and Contents
The Michael Changnon Collection consists of various papers, records, and correspondence illustrating Changnon’s career as an artist and Slippery Rock University art professor. The collection also consists of photographs depicting his artwork and some memorable moments during his tenure.
