From the Collection:

This collection consists of records documenting Slippery Rock University’s history from 1889 to approximately 2019. The bulk of the material is from 1889 through 1999. The collection includes papers and correspondence, reports, publications, photographs, audiovisual materials, ephemera, realia, and memorabilia. Also included are postcard collections and scrapbooks.

It includes the Naming of Buildings Committee Memorandum of 1979; Student headcount enrollment from 1889-1999; Certificate of Ownership of 1 square inch of Slippery Rock (undated); Art Building Dedication program, 1996 ; Russell Wright Dedication with handwritten notes, 2001; Jack Critchfield Park inaugural Season roster, 2002; Initial visual concepts of Student Union and Performing Arts building location, (undated); correspondence from Adolph Rozantz (Class of 1932) to President’s Office, 2003; Rock Rowdies membership, 2003; Dormitory construction accident injury update, 2005; correspondence from Yvonne Jobe regarding Blacks and Hickory Corner Schoolhouse (undated); a President G.
