Included in this folder is correspondence and other reports from SRSC Library Director Harold Helmrich and various other libraries and repositories from across the U.S. including the University of Pittsburgh, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Stanford University Libraries, Southern Methodist University, Carnegie-Mellon University, American Library Association, and Hofstra University with hand-written notes regarding Clarion State College and Millersville State College. The correspondence highlights Helmrich's attempts to reach out to other libraries with similar collections and assess their equipment, space, and the overall organization of their libraries for the construction of the new library at SRSC, now known as Bailey Library.
