The Albert Watrel Collection contains paper ephemera, news clippings, memorandums, and other communications and reports spanning from 1968 to 1977. Notably, the collection includes news releases, memorandums, and official correspondences regarding Watrel’s dismissal in 1976. Also included are papers chronicling the aftermath of Watrel’s dismissal, and James Roberts acting presidency.

The James Roberts Collection includes various memorandums sent by James Roberts as acting president of Slippery Rock State College. Most contents included are news clippings following the search for a permanent president of Slippery Rock State College in 1977 as well as news clippings regarding the food service court case of 1977.

The Lawrence Park Collection contains various papers, news clippings, and memorandums spanning Park’s term as interim president of Slippery Rock State College from 1977 to 1979. Notably, the papers also include Slippery Rock State College Audit Reports for academic years 1974 through 1976.
