Biography
Susan Ferrandiz came to Slippery Rock University as the head of the library’s circulation department in the mid-1980s. She later became one of the reference librarians, retiring from that position in 2003. Ferrandiz was instrumental in the development of the Bailey Library website, working as the webmaster for many years.
Ferrandiz is deeply interested in local history, particularly in Pennsylvania coal towns. Her master’s thesis on the topic was the first Web-based thesis in the state of Pennsylvania. Susan is also an accomplished weaver.
