Content Description

This collection consists of miscellaneous materials accumulated during Marjorie Banks' time as a student at Slippery Rock State Teachers College (SRSTC) from 1957 to 1961. While a student at SRSTC, Banks was an editor for the Slippery Rock student publication, The Rocket, and was an active member of the sorority, Sigma Tau Delta. Items in this collection vary from personal scrapbooks, other items of memorabilia, photographs, select issues of The Rocket, and textiles.

Scope and Contents The materials in this collection were maintained by former Slippery Rock University Director of Library Services, Philip Tramdack. Ranging from 1959 to 2014, contents of this collection include various administrative papers, correspondence, memorandums, annual reports, meeting minutes, construction and renovation records, and a few miscellaneous articles of memorabilia and audiovisual material all relating to the Slippery Rock University and Slippery Rock State College libraries—Maltby...

Scope and Contents

This collection consists of records documenting Slippery Rock University’s history from 1889 to approximately 2019. The bulk of the material is from 1889 through 1999. The collection includes papers and correspondence, reports, publications, photographs, audiovisual materials, ephemera, realia, and memorabilia. Also included are postcard collections and scrapbooks.
